Premium deferral 03/21 Slovakia

During the pandemic, the Social Insurance institution allows employers and self-employed persons to defer the payment of social insurance premiums for the month of March 2021 until 30 June 2021.

The deferral of social insurance premiums for the month of March 2021 to 30 June 2021 applies only to employers in the part of the employer's premiums and to the compulsorily insured self-employed persons, provided their net turnover or income from business and other self-employed activity decreased by 40% or more in that month. The deadline for social insurance premiums of employees for March 2021 does not change.
